St. Jude Hospital

The St. Jude Hospital, located in Fullerton, California, needed an upgrade to its existing HVAC system that serviced the hospital’s operating rooms. Because the healthcare facility was built in 1957, the project within this delicate and critical work environment required considerable construction in order for new heating and air conditioning equipment to be installed. Working with contractor Healthcare Design & Construction, our expert HVAC team was able to plan, design and build ductwork through multiple floors. This ductwork operated in conjunction with a new Energy Labs air handler that was installed in a strategic location to minimize roof duct and fire-rated shafts.

To minimize disruption, our HVAC team worked in accordance with St. Jude’s staff and patient schedules, while managing to operate in constricted spaces and around occupied patient rooms, completing the installation on time and to OSHPD standards.
