In Lake Forest, California, semiconductor company, Advantest needed Contemporary’s HVAC, plumbing, and controls services. Set on a very aggressive construction schedule, our teams got to work installing new chillers outside at ground level. The ultimate goal for the project was to install new Carrier roof mounted heat pumps and Daikin chillers for process cooling.
One of the biggest challenges we had to overcome was making sure we had the proper amount of manpower to schedule and install such large equipment. The existing structure gave us enough space to work within, and in the end, the client was extremely satisfied. While on the project, we also contracted to deliver preventative maintenance for all of Advantest’s HVAC, plumbing, and controls equipment.
