Projects
St. Joseph Hospital – NICU & Mother-Baby Unit
Working closely with our client, Healthcare Design & Construction, we were involved in managing the planning and installation of an industrial HVAC and exhaust system, as well as controls for Providence St. Joseph Hospital’s NICU and Mother-Baby Unit – the first of its kind in Orange County, California.
StoreDot
Working alongside Howard Building Corporation, we worked on a project for StoreDot, a renewable energy company located in Irvine, California. Bringing our knowledge and skillset in industrial HVAC, exhaust, and controls systems, we installed a new HVAC system on the extremely fast charging battery technology campus.
INX
INX, an International Ink Company located in Buena Park, California, found itself in need of our deep expertise in HVAC, exhaust systems, and controls. Partnering with Caliber Construction, our teams designed a plan to work within the confines of an old warehouse. This existing structure needed new roof top corner HVAC units and an exhaust system that would serve its test lab facility.
Advantest
In Lake Forest, California, semiconductor company, Advantest needed Contemporary’s HVAC, plumbing, and controls services. Set on a very aggressive construction schedule, our teams got to work installing new chillers outside at ground level. The ultimate goal for the project was to install new Carrier roof mounted heat pumps and Daikin chillers for process cooling.
JustFoodForDogs
In the town of Tustin, California, JustFoodForDogs, a retailer for all things dogs, needed a Daikin VRF System for its corporate offices. Working with Howard Building Corporation, our expert HVAC and controls teams collaborated with a mechanical engineer and equipment manufacturer to design state-of-the-art VRF split heat pumps. This unique project involved working with in modern, metal fabricated building that featured all exposed open ceilings.
L3Harris Technologies
Aerospace and defense company, L3Harris, is a technology company that provides military and commercial customers with integrated solutions for their air, land, sea, space, and cyber needs. Located in Yorba Linda, California, L3, needed a cooling tower, boiler, pumps, water source heat pumps and automated controls to all be retrofitted within a very accelerated timeline.

ToughBuilt Industries designs, manufactures, and distributes tools and accessories for the building and construction industry. Located in Irvine, California, the company was building out its new corporate office and partnering with Caliber Construction.
Channel Islands Surfboards
Industrial Surfboard manufacturer, Channel Island Surfboards, was building out a corporate office and manufacturing facility designed to ship surf boards to multiple countries. Located in Carpenteria, California, the structure was built to accommodate a high-end ventilation system in an existing facility that could adhere to AQMD standards.
Better Nutritionals
Better Nutritionals is a state-of-the-art contract manufacturer and leader in nutritional supplements that specializes in making cutting-edge formulas of gummy and chocolate supplements. Situated in Norco, California, this commercial enterprise is focused on personal health and wellness.
